When Penelope Dosser got sent to Stoneycreek Hollow, she didn't think anything of it. She had heard all about the town and was excited for a change of scenery. She liked the people living there, especially the town mason, Nicolas Lee. She blushed and stuttered whenever he came around, and he didn't seem to notice. She spent every day across the street from the masonry, selling flowers and hoping for a glimpse of him.
